Paper Lampshades
Paper lampshades - We use various papers for our lamp shades - each giving unique character to our light shades : From minimalist textured Japanese Washi papers, through to exquisitely beautiful Chiyogami screen printed decorative papers and unique hand marbled papers including historical antique patterns and much more contemporary marbled paper designs. We can even cover lampshades in wallpaper, in fact they work even better when we line lampshades in wallpaper, for a stunning design detail.

Historical antique Marbled Paper lampshades
Hand marbled papers. Machine printed marble papers.
Paper lamp shades are a bit more limited in size than the fabric lightshades we make, due to limitation of the paper sheet sizes - it is possible to make them bigger, but that would require extra seams.
Wallpaper Lampshades
Wallpaper lamp shades - We can make lampshades in all sorts for shapes and sizes, but when using wallpaper we are limited to the size of the paper, we also have to tape the edges with either a corodinating or contrasting fabric to finish off the edges properly.
When we line a lamp shade with wallpaper we can roll the edges for a neat finish & there is no need for the taped egde, unless you want that contrast look, which can be very effective.
Wallpaper lined lamp shades are very stylsh - a subtle way to continue a design theme without being too in your face - and also look stunning when iluminated revealing the delights within.
